What do I do if the course lengths differ from the classic 60 minutes?
For course times such as e.g. 45 min, 50 min etc. the swing phase 2 is correspondingly adjusted and in this case shortened. For course times such as e.g. 75 min the swing phase 2 will be longer and energy phase 7 extended.
Can pregnant women do deepWORK®?
As a basic principle, the following applies: Listen to your body! Depending on whether you have done sport before, we recommend you leave out the jumps and possibly check your heart rate. At the same time, it is recommended to possibly make more breaks. As a general rule: The decision is very individual and depends on many factors: general fitness and health, the doctor’s recommendation, etc.
Do I have to train barefoot? Why is barefoot training mandatory?
There are several reasons why we recommend barefoot training: The arch of the foot can only be muscularly strengthened barefoot, at the same time the plantar fascia provide a reflexive tension of the pelvic floor. Also we want to train the perception and the proprioception in deepWORK® training and use the foot or ankle functionally.
Can I use the deepWORK® logo or official photos?

The following rules apply:
All trained deepWORK® instructors are obliged to use the logos with regard to third parties subject to the following provisions:
- The deepWORK® logo may be used only by trained deepWORK® instructors.
- It is imperative to keep the deepWORK® logo unmistakably in its original.
- The deepWORK® logo may not be altered in its proportions.
- The deepWORK® logo is to be used with the logo “a programme of the IFHIAS Institute”.
Examples of incorrect use of logos – NOT allowed – are:
- changing the colours
- adding more colours
- adding other graphic elements
- wrong proportions
- mix of negative/positive
- busy background pattern
- “own” colours for the logo
- disproportionate “build” of the logo
- combinations of own company logo with the deepWORK® logo
- printing on clothing, bags and and similar
The floor is very slippery during training – what can I recommend my participants?
It is advisable to work on a mat. For hygienic reasons the participants may be recommended to buy their own yoga mats and use them.
How many weeks should the deepWORK® programme be maintained with the exercises as they are?
We recommend no weekly change of exercise selection. The course participants should recognise and feel their progress – a major motivation in training. Basically we recommend keeping the lesson plan as it is for 4-5 weeks and only then to modify individual blocks.
How free am I in my selection of workout exercises?
The listed exercises and their variations should be used – the deepWORK® experts have compiled these exercises for various reasons. There are other exercises and variations in the training courses and workshops section.
Who can and may do deepWORK® training? Which target groups are aimed at with deepWORK®?
“deepWORK® – like any training – shows the personal weaknesses of the body.” It is a cardio-intensive training – the option always remains to return to the basic movement. Therefore, the training is possible for everyone. Of course there are contraindications such as e.g. herniated discs, etc.
